Music is, it's in everything,
Can you imagine going to a movie and
So, you know, pick your favourite movie
the latest of, you know,
or a movie by Hans Zimmer, you know, just
those movies would be absolutely nothing.
It's exactly the same for the pump
music here in the UK and around the world.
Those marching aviators or troops.
That beat of those military marches is
and it will continue.
It's what people want, want to see.
It makes you stand up taller,
part of the organisation.
There's a real esprit de corps and
music within the forces.
It's a moral component really of what
Last sort of probably two decades now.
Our war role, we are
So what that means that in a sort
we would
along to sort of medical aid, so therefore
decontaminated sufficiently so therefore
And that's our war role, as we call it.
So we train for that every year
And that's a role that not only
but the other bands within the services
So on a regular basis we will work
down at Bryson.
So if we were called upon,
Just like myself,
We're musicians, we want to perform
an avenue to perform.
And that's at numerous different events,
in London or whether it's across
And musicians really latch onto that.
We attract the highest calibre
and they want to be part of music services
get a job or within music services
the high level state events,
the concerts, the small ensembles,
whether it's from royalty or to a local
that's what keeps them enthused.
They're doing their hobby and they're
and they are getting to see and play
in civilian street that they
So the team are energised, enthusiastic,
and thankfully, you know,
they enjoy what they do.
So they make my job very easy.
